The beloved tabletop roleplaying sensation Critical Role returns to UniVersus with this pair of Heroes of Exandria Starter Decks! Featuring the no-nonsense monk BEAU, this Starter Deck contains 61 cards (60 cards + 1 character card), and a double-sided paper playmat with learn-to-play instructions!
Took this to my weekly game night and the deck ran smoothly right out of the box, no extra tweaking needed. The 61-card build gives you a solid foundation and the monk playstyle feels true to the character.
I wasn't sure what to expect from a starter deck, but the 61 cards here give you a solid foundation and Beau's no-nonsense style really comes through in the mechanics. The flow of her abilities feels intuitive once you get a few turns in, perfect for jumping straight into a match.
Beau's deck is a blast right out of the box, and the pre-built 61-card setup means I could start playing immediately without any deck-building fuss. The monk’s momentum-based mechanics feel true to her character from the show, and every match so far has been a tense, fun back-and-forth.
