La invasión comienza con el MECHAGODZILLA original de la era Showa, en este elegante póster impreso en serigrafía que muestra al doble robótico de Godzilla atacando con una gran variedad de munición mecanizada a través de vapor sulfúrico arremolinado. The Showa-era Mechagodzilla design is exactly what I wanted, and the silkscreen printing gives the colors a slightly raised, textured feel you don't get from a regular poster. It's hanging above my desk and the robot duplicate detail holds up even up close.
Didn't expect the silkscreen inks to have that much texture, you can actually see the layers on Mechagodzilla's plating up close. Hung it above my desk and the Showa colors pop way harder than the flat print I had before.
The paper has a nice heavyweight feel and the ink layering really makes the Showa-era design pop from across the room. Frame it up and it’s an instant conversation piece for any kaiju fan.
